FAQs
When our founding team was new to doula work the responsibility of having a backup network that could be available at a moment’s notice was stressful, being fully aware that people live wildly unpredictable lives and the fear of leaving a family unsupported in such an essential experience.
When we looked for a place to search for last minute doulas, we couldn’t find any. So we created it.
Currently, we are testing the concept and need for this service in the community. If well received and demand grows we hope to expand our care network of doulas as well as more specific features, such as estimated distances.
Absolutely! In fact we’ve curated a community calendar of activities and opportunities geared towards helping the birth workers of the Twin Cities to connect with each other as they continue their learning.
